This loop is just one of any number that can be chained together from the trails in the Great Glen Trail System. These routes wander through the hardwood and coniferous forest at the foot of the Presidential Range and are of varying difficulty with gradual climbs and fast downhill sections. Both classic and skate skiers are accommodated at this area. There are services for the skier at this trailhead including rentals, retail shop and restaurant.
